If the Power Goes Out

Power interruptions can occasionally happen on the island. If this occurs, please contact your host Susanne.

A backup battery is available and can power household essentials - including lights, the TV, and small appliances such as the rice cooker. Your host will provide simple instructions for connecting and using it safely.

Please avoid opening the refrigerator or freezer unnecessarily during an outage, so food stays cool for as long as possible.
